Street Art: Walls That Speak. Stories That Stay.

Through the Madtwoz Street Art project, the youth of Sandy Ground are painting their identity, their pride and their future onto the walls of their neighborhood.
Walk through Sandy Ground today and you'll see colors, characters, faces, words. You'll see walls that used to be blank — and now tell stories about who we are, where we come from, and where we're going.
That's not by accident. That's the Madtwoz Street Art project at work.

The Vision: Sandy Ground as a Living Gallery
Our mission has always been clear: turn Sandy Ground into the street art capital of Saint Martin.
Not because we want to make headlines — but because we believe color,
art and creativity have the power to lift a neighborhood. To shift how people see it, and more importantly, how they see themselves. A mural changes more than a wall. It changes the energy of a street. It tells a kid walking by: this place matters, your story matters, you can leave your mark too.

MADTWOZ ART - SANDYGROUND
How It Works
Identify walls and spaces that could become canvases
Develop concepts that reflect Sandy Ground's identity, history and dreams
Teach techniques — from sketching and stenciling to spraying and finishing
Paint, together, in public, with the community watching and joining in
Some pieces take a day. Some take weeks. All of them stay — as a gift to the neighborhood and a record of what we've made.
More Than Decoration
Street art isn't decoration for us. It's storytelling, identity and ownership. When a young person from Sandy Ground paints a wall in their own neighborhood, something shifts. They stop being a visitor in their own community and start being a creator within it.
That shift is what we're building, one mural at a time.
