Empowering the Sandy Ground Community Through Education and Training

At the Madtwoz Family Association, our mission is to support the community of Sandy Ground by making education, training, and digital access available to everyone.

We believe that opportunities should be accessible close to home. Many people face transportation difficulties when trying to attend programs located far away in Hope Estate or other areas of the island. That is why we decided to bring educational and training programs directly into the Sandy Ground neighborhood.

Computer Classes and Free Computer Access

Technology is an important part of education and everyday life. At the association, we offer computer classes for students, adults, and community members who want to improve their digital skills.

We also provide free computer access for:

• Students working on school assignments

• Research projects

• Online administrative tasks

• Educational activities

The only contribution requested is payment for photocopies when needed.

Partnership With Training Centers

The Madtwoz Family Association proudly partners with different centres de formation across the island to create more opportunities for residents of Sandy Ground.

By working together, we help bring professional training programs into the community so residents can learn new skills without needing to travel long distances.

Our goal is to encourage personal growth, employment opportunities, and lifelong learning for everyone.

Assistance With France Travail (Pôle Emploi)

Community members who need to complete their France Travail (formerly Pôle Emploi) pointage can also visit the association for assistance.

After registering as a member of the association for only 20 euros per year, members can use our services to complete their online pointage free of charge.

Programs for Children and Adults

In addition to computer and training programs, we also offer:

• Arts and crafts activities

• CV and résumé assistance

• French language teaching

• Afterschool classes for children ages 7 to 13

These programs are designed to support both educational success and personal development in a safe and welcoming environment.
